20" LCD for Satellite / DVD Viewing

Hello,


I'm looking to spend around $ 1000 for a 20 "screen. It will be watching satellite tv & dvds ... first music.


I noticed a few options in my price range at onecall. Any ideas? How does Sharp compare to Toshiba, Sony, etc? Is LCD the way to go?
