Hi everyone,
I work on paging systems which often connect to a local PBX for access to make paging calls or intercom calls. We often setup the Paging terminal as a station and simply allow the PBX to ring the system and it goes off hook to connect. This is the normal way for the Paging system to receive an incoming call and process a page.
In the current case, I need the system to be able to get out of the PBX. never answers. I would also need the PBX to then connect another trunk for a call through the PSTN. This is an unusual configuration for me. I guess I could do the normal "station" setup and dial out that way, but I'm just right to get to know the trunk connection process.
I did not find the right solution from the internet.
