I've been messing with my PrivateFirewall settings, and came to realize I don't really know what some of the settings do. And there is no information in the user manual!
In Application Rules in the Applications tab,
Does the "This rule will Allow traffic" "type of rule" mean the rule becomes an Everything-Disallowed-Except... or the opposite? Opt-in or opt-out?
What happens if I don't check any of the "Direction of rule" boxes?
What happens if I have competing Allow and Deny rules, which ones win?
